Are the Outdoors Calling You?
For skin that works (and plays) hard outdoors. These products are designed to prevent irritation, or after a day in the wild, soothe it.
Clockwise from left, Barber's Block (with bag), Working Hands Bar, Rich No Itch Bar, Precious Patchouli Bar, and Don't Bug Me Balm.
Precious Patchouli Soap $5.25
De-stress with Patchouli. I and several others I know find the scent intoxicating. The herb and it's oils are said to have anti-depressant and anti-inflammatory qualities. This bar contains the dried herbal as well as the pure essential oil.
Doc Bar Soap $5.25
This is the hand soap for farriers and horse owners. The ground coffee in this bar removes unwanted equine smells such as thrush. It also contains Tea Tree Oil, a natural antibacterial agent. It leaves your hands feeling soft and slightly spicy with the scent of clove.
Rich – No Itch Bar $5.25
This bar, made from Balsam of Peru has more to offer than its rich Vanilla scent. The oil is also known to relieve itching and comfort dry chapped skin. It is very effective on Poison Ivy and Oak.
Barber's Block $5.25
This is my throw back to the old shaving block. It contains Cinnamon essential oil and ground Cinnamon spice as well. You can either use it with a wash cloth or hunt down a mug and brush. The lather is slight but the effect is great. Comes in it's own little brown bag.
Working Hands Bar $5.25
This is my gardener's bar. It contains the essential oil of Allspice along with the actual spice. I've thrown in cornmeal for its slight abrasive action. I keep mine by the water hose outside for a quick clean up.
“Don't Bug Me” Insect Balm $9.50
This incredible insect repellant balm has not only a wonderful scent (one you won't mind wearing all day), but also really does the trick on pesky critters (fleas, flies, ticks, and mosquitoes). It took me over 4 years to perfect this formula and some of the oils used in this bar have been recommended by the EPA for repelling insects.
